God Sheep me the Right

No wonder – zzz’s – fails to attempt

Lash curling my silence it’s thundering bed

God rains with high hopes tilting my bolts

Such fury it purples my room moaning tall

Do I wait for sound poundings

Or ponder the lightning

Regardless I am scared

You’ve made yourself manly

Sheep me the right to find my dear sleep

Nestle me tight and sake poets dreams

  1. Hello Mari,

I am surrounded by sheep on this green island. I read your poems daily (or whenever they surface) and they always stir a deep sense of creativity and freedom within.

I’m sure this is not the first time, but……….

I have nominated your wonderful blog for a ‘Versatile Blogger Award’ (http://versatilebloggeraward.wordpress.com/).
I felt humbled in gaining recognition from a fellow blogger, whom I respect, and as a result, have connected with a load more wonderful folk; sharing through words and images this incredible collective experience we are all having.
The ‘turtle’ started small and is maturing slowly, it is nice to hear of people reading and enjoying my reflections on the ride.
See the original turtle post here:

    Good luck with all……
    Peace and Light,
    Lee

    1. Lee, humbled with your recognition. Reading my words has served me purposeful. And I thank you, and the herds.
Sheeps are simply lovely. . I will create a post to thank everyone that has nominated my words and blog, peace evermore. Thank you – M

  2. really good mari. i really like the line with high hopes tilting the bolts. even though it can be tied to being an insomniac, but i can see the manic leaping around like lightning as well.
