Alimenting Love

How can I repay you
You’ve cushioned me soft
Behaving this materialism of mine

Our positive science
Dilating with pride
Our unspeakable elbowed love

Shouldering the barebosomed truths
Defining immortality circumstances
Past memories affectionately absorbed
The audible liberty scared to show it’s true lives to all
Starry speckled beings protesting to be remembered
Faith rejecting the disguised jokes

Sentiments of trees bark stalking in satisfaction
For spirits posing with the clearest of indications
Summoning the pleasure of this poem

The light and the dark of our directions
For we are all similes tenaciously bursting with  sound
Exposed to pursue every past presents and future

Sometimes

I find myself so effortlessly floating in this dark

My human desire quenches the ill filled surprise

Masochist I must be to want such wants

To repent is to sink with this faith calling my names

Joy filling these bouts is where my heart beats at it’s best

Hair the Musical

My youngest will be performing his end of school musical
I am both ecstatic and nervous joy-jitters galore
We argued this morning over his bird nest crowning hair
Kid will not allow anyone to mess with his mind
Surely this musical is about all they learned this year
Gavin will most probably stand out from the bunch
Yikes . . .
