Trichromacy

once in a while when surrounded by night
grey hums partings the gouache’d space
rumors pushing forward

twisting strokes
believing in men
their fever

their time
single eyeing
the color the form

the cell of God reverberating
and it’s there
in the frame

where everything becomes sculptured
faith marveling
faith flaming evermore

And he likes it

like a kite made of blue plush
o’ what a thrill
straight from the heart

flapping like hats celebrate imagination
be still let me tickle you
count with me

let me see what you have learned
my sensitivities cheek here
palpitating the free light

your earthly feet that i adore
mothering my collar
enchanting my posture

the secret stirring of your laughter
my clear stream
my children . .
