A little Poetry

Without any tricks
Miracles become the marginal role
Weighing my skin in this darkness
The voices
The names

The hands of my old man trembling upon my chest
Collecting armful shelves
Inscribing the birthed punctuality

The brief audience spinning for change
Confined leprosy passageways
Guiding me combed
Licking my quoted head

Erratically removing the paganism instilled
The talks the white bearded temples
Angel crashing with gloom
Waiting for me to readjust with touch

Their cross with tiny marbles
Terracotta beads with fruit
Purple thorns with passion
Forging their hung air with memory

Their wounded feet with livers
With livers who process impatiently
Who love organically and true

Propagandistic Silks

The literary fashionistas in their realm of ethics mistake details for attitude
Notoriously fabricating the woven stanzas
Modernizing the psychological arenas
Enclosing the overly stitched verbiage
Do not fret marrying your propagandistic silks
The unkind choices dramatized and unsolvable
Restore your social grandeur it’s tender jazziness
Live free in your nudeness

Humility starts with Humanity

Heard the unfortunate news this morning of the passing of a wonderful man by the name of Jose ‘Pepe’ Machado. Close family friend, human rights activist who famished his right to think.  Walking so heavy in composed shade lifts my heart to voice on this device.

Pepe, this is for you my love
Certainly there is heaven
No clouds
No arches
Simply tilting windows sailing
Pen sketched in love laced thoughts
Free avenues colored roads
Assuming ranks
Calling out names
Your name sir
The chalk who stood and listened
Teaching leafs to dance
Spotting the branch
The sycamore of life
For the passer
The writer
The speaker
Whose heart ringdove ecstasy
For every man
For every mouth that cried
Dissolving violence
Meddling kettle frail
Conceiving copper peace cells
You sir
Unaware and impeccable
Laugh now
Loud as drunk loud
Choose to blink when you like
Give grass your wicked charm
Claim your real voice
Your vivid beauty walking
Fabulously telling passengers to rise in the seek
Crowning this temporary death chaptered
The attention that beckons man
For this death is just a quartz in the unceasing story of our absorbing youth
