The Resting Scent

Summer stunning weeds to green
Silver bellies watching free
Where the damp remains untouched
Little ponds growing wider with time
Skin spreading their ripples
Eagering lovers to see their faces
The echoing convictions
Blood blossoming their pollen
The scented air naming each growing thing
Autographed with sheets of notes
With feet that press gently stricking
Their ivory shadowed keys to brass

Inescapable Breeze

Love – since your are not listening
I will speak of your eyes
Although insistently you close them
I will pupil this floor beneath me
Stubbornly like a child drawing circles
Coloring those lids to open
For I am not dreaming
Simply testifying my form fully awake
Squinting my eyes with your breeze
With your wholesome disorder
You have found me
I breathe better now
Love – You have ruined me
With your mercy and lust
Thank you

Permanent Walls

Some people enjoy the workable skin
The identical green posture
Not me you see
Life outside of this is too marvelous for me
Faithfully conjuring my lunched noon
Sixty minutes of free oxygen
Beat writing these very words like xylophones wood joy sound
For the necessary asylum love galloping this worked soul of mine
