Alimenting Love

How can I repay you
You’ve cushioned me soft
Behaving this materialism of mine

Our positive science
Dilating with pride
Our unspeakable elbowed love

Shouldering the barebosomed truths
Defining immortality circumstances
Past memories affectionately absorbed
The audible liberty scared to show it’s true lives to all
Starry speckled beings protesting to be remembered
Faith rejecting the disguised jokes

Sentiments of trees bark stalking in satisfaction
For spirits posing with the clearest of indications
Summoning the pleasure of this poem

The light and the dark of our directions
For we are all similes tenaciously bursting with  sound
Exposed to pursue every past presents and future

And she Prays

With her old spunky ashtray she prays
Cooper wheeling notes to desk
Remarkable isn’t she

Vocalizing her talcum’d story
Publishing this reality so industriously
And she prays o’ she prays

With her baptismal craggy head she prays
Manufacturing sequoias for crosses
Axing the silent the live the oaks
I’ve seen her generations
Secret riddling the rhyme
Malicious caterpillars shouldering

Your church yard pride
The tangible creation taring spirits apart
And she prays o’ she prays

Reverberating craniums of prophets
With her hungry mouth incense
And she prays o’she prays
With her gastric saliva she prays

Kissing you

Suddenly my voice stopped aching
Will you marry me unafraid
My yesteryear vespers melancholy

Dear gloomy groom please kneel
Amass forever the steadily sun above
Lighting my brows shadow divine

My haunted caverns safe-kissed
Shake handing voluptuous lions
Altering martyrs for roars

Diluting music for shrines
Food see me yours nude
Arched back painting my moles

With volumes cheer raising childhood
Timid vows weal so deep my love
Ceremonies confessing adores you

Between the prayer lives this hope
Uncrossed ever so tightly for our years crowding Gods with mouths

Loving evermore presiding lyrics unlisted
For the high music cities ancestral loving it’s bliss
Because darling the only troubadours are us

Drawing Her

Dreaming of us two
As your chin missed my touch
Just as this day dissolves
Leaving my sharpies to crisper
As I type these words
Your largest gesture is you sunk
Sharp light stabbing false
Cleverly painting your prayers
My mucous kissing careful fool
Stretching your neck to chuckle
Your priestly champagne walls
Excusing your mortal soaks
The normal corners of a heart
And if this poem should lift you
Dance your wrists with blooming steeples
It’s jealousy dark through clouds
Where you squeeze and grace our large religion
Water seeking flowerpots who care
Evermore curving love to see the luminous in this present precise

Of course I do

Impetuous I prefer to be

Mother do you remember me

Your overnight bag needles

Sewing heart hems

Unworthy dissimilarity fortunes

I do love you

Of course I do

Cake pupils dilated

Harrumphing tears tongued

Untellable you see

Still I love

Of course I do

With better plans

Better plans for you

Understand if you can

Heaven is everywhere

It starves and chews

Our psalm engraved material

Mother lift up your skirt

Your essential twill pride

I love you

Of course I do
