I have nothing to say.

Which is strange,
because my mind
rarely gives me silence.

I’ve been away.

I’ve been thinking.

And whatever happened to me
is still happening.

Maybe that’s why
I keep reaching
for words
that aren’t ready
to belong to me yet.
